Doing Good

As a company, The Turkish Towel Company strives to give back. We support many local and national charities aimed at housing society’s most vulnerable people and abandoned animals.

Doing Good For People

We believe the common thread that unites humanity is the desire to feel safe, secure and cared for. We proudly support these shelters:

Hospitality House

Hospitality House is a regional nonprofit housing and homeless services agency working in seven rural North Carolina mountain counties to provide housing, shelter, homeless prevention, street outreach and crisis assistance. Since 1984, the mission of Hospitality House has been to rebuild lives and strengthen community by providing a safe, nurturing, healthy environment in which individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty-related crises are equipped to become self-sufficient and productive.

Safe Home-Rape Crisis Coalition

SAFE Homes-Rape Crisis Coalition (SHRCC) provides services to victims of domestic violence in Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties and victims of sexual assault in Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties. SHRCC provides a 24-hour hotline for domestic and sexual assault survivors as well as access to shelter, crisis counseling, individual family therapy, police and court accompaniment and an extensive array of resources for individuals and communities.

Western Carolina Rescue Ministries

Western Carolina Rescue Ministries (WCRM) serves the homeless, poor and addicted population of Western North Carolina. Their services for men, women and children include providing meals, food boxes, overnight shelter, showers and clothing. Dedicated to helping Western Carolina’s most vulnerable men and women get on their feet and take their place in society, WCRM provides life counseling, job training and assistance with transitional services, and help for addicted mothers and their babies.

Doing Good For Animals

We cherish the joy our furry family members give us and believe every animal deserves a loving home. We proudly partner with regional animal shelters and rescues, K9 law enforcement groups, and more. These are just a few of the wonderful organizations we support:

Asheville Humane Society

As Buncombe County’s critical safety net since 1984, the Asheville Humane Society Is a no-kill community that not only saves and protects animal, but also ensures that each animal has the quality of life they deserve – a life worth living. Services include adoptions, relocations, fostering, community solutions and lost and found.

Brother Wolf

Brother Wolf works across county lines with the goal of saving the greatest number of lives Through Brother Wolf’s adoption and pet retention programs, two low-cost mobile spay and neuter clinics, lifesaving shelter transfer partnerships, extensive volunteer and foster networks, and a trap-neuter-return program for community cats, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue impacts the lives of thousands of animals each year in the Western North Carolina region.

Somerset Regional Animal Shelter

Every year Somerset Regional Animal Shelter takes in nearly 1,000 animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, and more. In addition to finding these animals their forever homes, through its adoption services, the non-profit shelter provides behavior modification and training advice, animal control services, affordable spay and neuter services and pet retention programs.
