Many other towel retailers talk about traveling the globe to find expert craftspeople. We don’t. Because we ARE the expert craftspeople. Our woman-owned, family-run weaving facility is overseen by co-founder Seher Gürgün. Seher is a fourth generation weaver. Her great-grandmother starting a weaving company over 100 years ago. Committed to making the world’s best towel, Seher ensures that every towel we make is designed to last. Typically, our towels last 2-3 times longer than comparable towels.
We ensure that sustainability is the common thread that weaves through every product. And, it starts with creating a better towel. One that is made to last. If your towels last for years and years, it keeps them out of landfills. It means that by choosing well, you buy less. If a product doesn’t need to be replaced often, the product’s total environmental impact is reduced across its lifecycle.
And, if your towels have reached the end of their lifespan, we encourage you to donate them to animal shelters, who often have an ongoing need for towels, for drying off animals, lining cages, providing warm bedding etc.
