Just a hop, skip and a jump away from us, the Wenham Museum is hosting the North Shore Design Show (NSDS). It features the finest interior designers from around the region showcasing their talents by creating one-of-a-kind vignettes that honor the museum’s mission celebrating the history and culture of Boston’s North Shore, and the artifacts of childhood and New England family life.
The show got off to a start last Friday evening when the 13 designed spaces were unveiled at the gala party, hosted by New England Home editor, designer, blogger and NSDS Honorary Chairperson Stacy Kunstel.
The very talented Yvonne Blacker, of Yvonne Blacker Interiors, used her 8’X8′ space to interpret the modern family mudroom. The star of this space was the indoor/outdoor potting sink made from honed black granite, by Stone Forest. If you are in the North Shore area, this gorgeous potting sink is available at the Designer Bath showroom in Beverly. And, if you look closely, you might see some of our premium kitchen towels that Yvonne added for a pop of color. These are our very popular Orange Grove Collection.
There is an open house tonight hosted by Landry and Arcari. (View the details here.) Drop by Yvonne’s “Modern Family Mudroom” space and say hello. A percentage of all sales go to benefit the Wenham. If you can’t make it tonight, the show runs until May 20th. Get all the details here.
