Pattern in the Bathroom

September 25, 2013 / in

With bathrooms being one of the smallest rooms in the house, we tend to slap on a solid color and call it a day— using our more daring ideas elsewhere. However, a bit of pattern in the bathroom can go a long way and create a lasting impression on you and guests alike! To get into the pro-pattern mindset, check out these three ways you can use it in your bath:

Walls – Pick a wall, any wall and give it some big, bold pattern! This bathroom really makes a statement and the neutral palette everywhere else keeps it balanced:

Floors – We love the flower design of this tile! It brings a touch of femininity to the bathroom and the black & white works with the already eye-catching walls:

Ceilings – If you’re really feeling adventurous, make like this funky bathroom and put the pattern on the ceiling! The stripes give this otherwise white room a pop of color:

There’s a world of pattern possibility out there, so be inspired and have fun thinking outside the solid-colored box!
