Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, along comes this genius storage idea from GW International. I spotted it via design social media maven Leslie Carothers –you can follow her on Twitter @tkpleslie— who in turn had spotted it from the talented Jennifer Brouwer (@JennBrouwer).

What a brilliantly simple solution for small bathrooms with limited space to hideaway bubble bath, shampoos and other toiletries. Here’s a larger version…

But why stop there?  Book lovers, perhaps you should consider a bathtub bookcase? Antonio Lupi’s Biblio free-standing bathtub incorporates a convenient spot to store your books and magazines, or the objet d’arts of your choosing.

Want to do a little bathing with the fishes? Just plunk down $14,500 and this Moody Aquarium tub could be all yours. (Via Apartment Therapy) Not exactly all that comfortable looking, but, there’s a good chance no one in your neighborhood has one.

When is a bathtub not a bathtub? When it’s something else, of course!
