Our Towels

Why Turkish Cotton?

The Turkish Towel Company products are all made in the legendary cotton-producing town of Denizli, Turkey, which is famous for its fine premium, long-staple cotton. Using longer fiber cotton in spinning yarn means fewer joins.

Fewer joins results in stronger and smoother cotton threads. That’s why cotton from this region is considered to be the softest in the world. And, Turkish cotton gets softer, fluffier and more absorbent with successive washings.

Our Commitment to Heirloom Quality

All of our towels and bathrobes are woven in our modern production facility by computer controlled weaving equipment.

We inspect our towels four separate times to ensure the perfect towel:

After Weaving

After Dyeing

After Stitching

At Random for QA

Paying particular attention to the stitching and finishing, all our towels are double-stitched along the lengths to avoid fraying and for added stability.

While a Turkish towel may cost more initially, in the long run it costs a lot less as it will easily outlast towels of inferior quality.

Our Commitment to Our People

Our mill is family-run and woman-owned. All employees at our manufacturing facility receive fair wages that adhere to European Union standards. But fair trade amounts to much more than simply fair wages; it’s about creating a respectful and rewarding work environment.

We happily provide our workers with free transportation, hot lunches and daily snack breaks. We also ensure that our operations are as ethical as possible, using only safe dyes and procedures.

We Make Products that Are Good for the Planet, Good for You

All Turkish Towel Company products are certified OEKO-TEX® – an international standard that sets limits on close to 200 potentially harmful substances and chemicals, including phthalates and VOC emissions.

With this certification, we can guarantee that our processes are free of harmful heavy metals like lead and arsenic, as well as many allergy-inducing and irritating chemicals.
